Founder & Owner
Gary Rack is a self-made restaurateur who takes a family-centered approach to revolutionize the neighborhood dining experience. He envisioned and founded RACKS Fish House + Oyster Bar around the idea that local, seasonal seafood, crafted cocktails, and exceptional service can create a contemporary and memorable experience.
Demetrio Zavala
Directory of Culinary
Demetrio Zavala was born into a military family at Fort Carson, Colorado but grew up in Delray Beach, Florida. He’s worked under many award-winning chefs in New York and Washington D.C. and has flexed his muscles on the national stage, winning Food Network’s Chopped eight times. He joined the Gary Rack Restaurant Management Group to share his love of fresh, local ingredients and return to his South Florida roots.
